EmpowerHer Recovery Network exists to support women in early recovery by providing structured peer mentoring, life-skills support, and transition resources in partnership with established sober living homes throughout San Antonio.
Our mission is to increase recovery stability, reduce relapse, and help women rebuild their lives with dignity, purpose, and long-term support.
The Need
Women in San Antonio face barriers in early recovery — childcare challenges, trauma histories, limited resources, and gaps in aftercare support. Sober living homes provide housing and structure, but peer support and individualized guidance is often missing.
EmpowerHer was founded in response — support that addresses not only substance use, but also trauma, mental health, family reintegration, and economic hardship.
Vision: A community where all women in recovery have the tools, support, and confidence to live healthy, self-sufficient, purpose-driven lives.
