Join Our Board

Board members guide our mission, ensure ethical, effective governance, and champion programs that empower women in recovery.

What board members do:

  • Advance the mission, vision, and values, and take part in strategic planning
  • Carry the fiduciary duties of care, loyalty, and obedience — come prepared, and act in the organization’s best interest
  • Attend monthly or quarterly board meetings and serve on at least one committee — Fundraising, Programs, Community Outreach, or Governance
  • Act as an ambassador: support fundraising, share the mission, help identify partnerships, and lend expertise with a trauma-informed lens

Time: Typically 3–6 hours per month, plus occasional special meetings, events, or trainings.

Who makes a great board member: Someone with lived experience, professional expertise, or strong advocacy for women in recovery — especially in healthcare, behavioral health, legal, finance, education, fundraising, or community leadership — and a collaborative, compassionate, mission-driven mindset.

What you gain: Meaningful, long-term impact; leadership and governance experience; connection to a passionate, purpose-driven community.
